ACTIVITIES DURING HOMESTAY -VISITS

Visit to nearby Merdeka (Independence) Beach overlooking the scenic Jerai Mountain. Or take a boat ride croosing the Merbok rivermouth to Dawai Cape to buy local belacan (shrimp paste).
Visit the nearby the famed  Bujang Valley Museum to see abundant artifacts on the Hindu-Buddhist relics. Seen here is the interior scene of the museum. 

You can have a visit at Wetland Museum at Merbok nearby to get the information and feel the scenery on the bakau wetland of the river plateau system of the area.
