Homestay Kota Aur gets 4th place among 11 participated in homestay competition.

Homestay Kota Aur receiving RM1000.00 after sought 4th place of the top 5 finalist of Penang homestay competition first time being held. All 11 homestays participated in this competition.

Cuttinng from daily Harian Metro dated 8 May 2015 stating the event of PERDA (Penang Regional Development Authority) giving away bicyles to Kota Aur participants. Bicycles can be used for the tourist stay at the homestay with minimal charge. Kami mempunyai 25 bilik yang boleh menampung sekitar 100 pengunjung (dalam satu masa) dari 14 rumah peserta projek homestay Kota Aur. Harga bilik dari RM80-RM250 semalam (bergantung kpd saiz bilik), bilik ada A/C atau kipas (bilik air ada air panas) sumbangan PERDA. Kini boleh berbasikal keliling kampung (juga sumbagan PERDA).
